Blessings In The Mire and Reaching Youth Art Network (RYAN) host the 1st Annual Art Contest for youth, ages 10-20. This year's theme: "Life As I See It." Categories include: Painting, Drawing, Photography, Short Stories, Poetry, and Mixed Media. All entries are due by September 13, 2008. An Awards Assembly will be held to honor entrants at Liberty Park on September 27, 2008. Winners will receive exciting prizes and see their work displayed in a moving gallery throughout the state, and online at http://www.BlessingsInTheMire.com. ONE Super Grand Prize winner will even enjoy seeing his or her work displayed on the plasma screen at the downtown City Library!
