Unto the good gentles of Artemisia, the Shire of Côte du Ciel invites you to join us at the nineteenth annual Harvest War. Beautiful summer is now with us, but we fear that winter will come all too swiftly and force us indoors. So make hay while the sun shines, and mark your calendars for the last weekend in August (Labor Day Weekend) to participate in this wonderful event. Fighting is planned for both rapier and heavy fighters, and an archery tournament, too. There will also be a number of classes offered throughout the day. If you’re interested in teaching a class, please contact the class steward (HarvestWarClasses@coteduciel.org). There will also be children’s classes and boffer activities. Please check the Harvest War web site, www.harvestwar.org, for more information on classes and instructors. Merchants are welcomed and adored. If you are interested in being a merchant, please contact the merchant steward (HarvestWarMerchant@coteduciel.org).
Site: The site is the Utah Renaissance Festival location in Ogden, Utah. It opens this year at noon on Friday, August 29th, and closes at noon on Monday, September 1st. Please do not arrive on-site early.

Directions: 25 minutes north west of Salt Lake City, the Utah Renaissance Festival site is 1 mile west off of the 346 exit from I-15. Coming North or South on I-15, take the 346 Exit West onto West Pioneer Road, heading straight West for a half mile.
