Sunflower Farmers Market is excited to celebrate the opening of its first store in the state of Utah! The natural foods grocery store, located in Murray, will kick off grand opening festivities on Wednesday, July 2 at 6:20 a.m. In celebration of the grand opening, the first 200 customers on Wednesday will receive a FREE reusable shopping bag filled with Sunflower’s healthy groceries, valued at over $50, with any in-store purchase. Customers will receive a ten cent discount for every reusable bag brought back to the store for future purchases. Join the new Sunflower Murray store at 6284 S. State Street, across from Fashion Place Mall, for a day of grand opening festivities.
Guests can enjoy free breakfast items during the ribbon cutting, Sunflower style, where they cut a “sunflower garland”. At 11 a.m., it’s time to fire up the grill for an on-site barbeque. The grill will sizzle until 6 p.m. with free samples of meats of all kind. Guests can also enjoy chair massages from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunflower, founded in 2002, currently operates stores in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and now Utah. A second Sunflower store will open in Orem, UT in September 2008, while the growing chain will also soon launch in Texas.
