                        From May 4 to May 10, Water Week will be sponsoring free educational films and documentaries surrounding the global water crisis. The films will be featured at various venues throughout Utah, giving Utahns the opportunity to watch and learn about everyday water issues people face around the globe.

                        Water Week’s efforts are centered on awareness and education to local communities in Utah. These films were created to educate people on how they can help give everyone access to safe, affordable and sustainable drinking water and adequate sanitation, all to ensure a healthy tomorrow for the future residents of the earth.  

                       

Water Week is sponsored by the Intermountain Section American Water Works Association, Central Utah Water Conservancy District, Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake and Sandy, Media One, Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District, Utah Department of Environmental Quality, and Utah Division of Water Resources.  The film series for the week is sponsored by HDR.
