Speaker and Author, Rose Johnson-Tsosie to Speak about New Book
Rose Johnson-Tsosie is a Navajo woman that found her natural mother after 33-years... being adopted into a family living in the Cache Valley community with her twin sister, she states, "It was all a huge mistake..." now her story is published in her book, "Finding Helen - A Navajo Miracle," Ms. Johnson-Tsosie (Navajo) will have a Book Signing at the Indian Walk-in Center on May 2, 2008. Author, Rose Johnson-Tsosie has been an active member on the IWIC board in the past and local resident in Bountiful, UT since 1997. She served two full-time LDS missions and now serving as a part-time service missionary at the Family History Library in SLC. Rose is also a member of Toastmasters International receiving the highest award, the Presidential Citation in 2007. She is also a member of Utah Storytelling Guild. At the present time Ms. Johnson-Tsosie is going blind due to Diabetes/Glaucoma, yet travels throughout the United States as an inspirational speaker, genealogy specialist on American Indian Genealoy-SW Tribes, and as a Navajo Storyteller.
